Don't believe any of the people, they're all wrong. Moses is in the Book of Exodus. The Book of Genesis tells the stories of Adam, Joseph, Noah, etc. Wow, u guys, I'm not even a Christian, and I know that.

And to answer your question. The original Bible was written by God, as the Old Testament, the New Testament is a rewrite of the stories. No one knows for sure who actually wrote it, but it isn't the same as it was before.

The first 5 books of the Old Testament: Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, and Deuteronomy, comprise the Pentateuch. These books were "written" by Moses in response to the Word of God

There is a legend Moses put the first books of the Bible including Genesis into written form but textual analysis implies they were also edited and rewritten when Israel was a Kingdom.

Before it were put into written form Genesis was probably the myths and legends and oral traditions of the Hebrews back when they were nomads.
