I don't know good freeware, usually the free version only have the basic functions, poor services and video quality.

You can try RZ DVD Creator, i have used it, it can create standard video DVD from any movies with title menu and chapter menu, it can

directly convert and burn any videos to DVD(DVD+R, DVD-R, DVD-RW, DVD+RW, DVD-DL,DVD+DL, etc), such as avi to DVD, etc. It can auto fit the videos size.

Work well on my computer, easy to use, inexpensive, i like it.

Following is a step by step guide:

    Hope it can help you.

I had been looking for free video converter before, but I found some problems existed in these free things such as many annoying ads, watermarks, only converting small part of it, even worse, it almost destroyed my computer system.

In this condition, I would like to pay for the valuable one.I always use Pavtube Video Converter. It supports the mutual conversion between all the video formats. It allows to convert files between all popular video/audio formats such as AVI, WMV, MPEG, MPG, MP4, MOV, DV, H.264, 3GP, MP3, AAC, WMA, AC3, and so on, which are supported by iPod, Zune, iPhone, Apple TV, PSP, Creative Zen, Pocket PC, Mobile Phone, Xbox 360, PDA, etc.You can try it.
