The people who will be calling for his resignation will be from both and all parties. Republicans, some will ask him to resign b/c of Sanford having an affair is against conservative values. Dems, who call for his resignation will do it, not for any upstanding moral principle, but to call attention to how "bad" Republicans are. Legit questions remain though that are worthy of investigation that would probably lead to his resignation. Two being, "Who was in charge during his AWOL?" and "Were any trips taken abroad to see this woman done at taxpayer expense."
No matter which party someone is from, those people in Washington, D.C. are supposed to be working for us. I am tired of the corruption on both sides, far left/right and in the middle.
Aside to Raven: The Huffington Post is NOT a good reference to support your argument that Clinton was not impeached. He actually was impeached by the House in December 1998, then acquitted by the Senate in February 1999. He was impeached for lying under oath, not for having an "affair."
Clue for Raven: Google what you are about to post before you post it. For example, you can find a lot of research by Googling "Clinton's Impeachment." Then go on to read several of the links, just not 1 (especially H-Post), it really is that easy.
