Should all Christians go on a meditation retreat?
Modern Buddhists follow in the footsteps of the Buddha in order to attain Buddha's experience.
Before Jesus began teaching, he went into the wilderness for 40 days of meditation and fasting. During this period, he was able to put to rest all the challenges brought by the devil.
Shouldn't modern Christians, who wish to sit close to Jesus, do what Jesus did and go into the wilderness for 40 days and nights of fasting and temptation. Wouldn't this be the doorway to heaven?
@Sisi - You might consider learning something about both Christianity and Buddhism. Shouldn't you be in Sunday school right now?
