Your right, it's not okay to portray them disrespectfully. But I don't support the idea that a woman's body is something shameful, so I don't consider half naked dancing to be morally wrong (unless it's in front of the wrong audience, or "touched up" with computers, or if the dance moves themselves degrade women.
I think people still assume that women don't appreciate sex as much as men, (wrongly), and so our sexual interests (women) are exploited, much more often then their sexual interests (men). Gay interests are completely ignored, in these arenas also. (though I suspect that will change as homosexuality becomes more accepted, at which point, their will be just as many half naked men, as women, being exploited, for viewers benefit.)
I like your views, though- keep at it.
Q. "Why can women marry men pretending to love them, divorce them, and steal half their wealth?"
A. -Why can men do it? It's the same reason.
Q. Why can women get pregnant with a guy, never see him, and force him to pay child support?
A. It's true, we never have to worry about getting pregnant. We can (and do -though rarely) get to take custody of the child, not see her, and have her pay child support.
This is not equal yet (sadly), because lets face it, we still claim that women are responsible for tending to the kid, when we're married to them. If men take equal roles in parenthood (which more and more men are doing) we can count on seeing more men awarded custody of our children (which is becoming more and more common).
Q. "Why is it that whenever women don't get what they want, they ***** and nag in the name of "equality"?"
A. Yes, why is it that women react the same way you are doing now, when THEY get frustrated? Do you expect them to have better self control than you have? Do you expect them to be quiet when you can't manage it, yourself? They are right to ask for equality, because the requirement that women should suffer silently, wile you whine, is a double standard in itself.
"The girls in these videos like dancing, and get paid tonnes of money for it - so what's your problem with that? Are you jealous they are making much more than you with less work?"
Obviously you have no idea what efforts go into making a music video. This is not less work by any means. (YOU dance in high heals for 16 hours a day, for a week, and THEN tell everyone it's "less work") Nore is it necessarily safe work (hazardous conditions are common). It is exhausting, painful, and sometimes serious injuries occur, and suddenly these women who "love to dance", are permanently disabled (and have no income after that, because (in USA) you stop getting paid when you can't work.
The Jonas brothers are never half naked, and are not sexy. They are the closest things women are aloud to have, to sexy, because women are not aloud to express themselves sexually (or admit feelings of sexual interest) in the USA (where Jonas brothers are based). Those who do admit such interests are punished socially, (and sometimes professionally, for it.
"Oh also one thing I've missed is that it is (in general) in women's nature to be dominated, so they like it as well as being paid lots of money for it."
That's total ****. It's not in their nature. If they "liked" it, they wouldn't object. You can't possibly believe your own words?
