I need to get quicker....quickly.?

I need to get quicker. Not to be confused with "faster" or "endurance"...as i am comfortable with my max speed and my endurance, but I need to get to that max speed faster...improve my "0 to 60" time if you will. I also need to work on my quickness in changing directions, and coming to... show more I need to get quicker. I also need to work on my quickness in changing directions, and coming to a quick stop and then, changing directions, and then getting to full speed again. I have about a month and a half till my sport starts up, any advice on what to do to improve on these? Thanks in advanced.
