I can't sync my iPod music onto the iTunes of my new laptop?

I used to use iTunes on my old computer with the same iPod. I got a new laptop and downloaded iTunes bbut it won't let my iPod sync onto it. I get a message saying: "The iPod is synced with another iTunes library. An iPod can be synced with only one iTunes library at a time..." I understand this bbut I want my music on there! How can i go about doing this?

The way iTunes and iPods work is that 1 iPod can be synced with 1 iTunes. You can connect to other computers, but the computer will ask you if you want to erase your iPod and use the iTunes on that computer. It's just the way Apple works, sorry.

This answer only applies if u still have ur old computer otherwise I'm afraid you lost ur music which totally sucks if u paid for it(I don't) I hope this helps!!

My advice would be to get a flash drve save your music folder onto the USB port/flash drive then

upload that folder on to ur new laptop other than this u cud just sync with ur old computer or get new music or just keep the songs u have:)

There is one way around this. On your old laptop, connect your iPod and select in iTunes. Click allow disk use (or something similar). Then, manually copy the files from your laptop to your iPod (using My Computer or Finder). Then, after connecting it to the new computer, open it up in My Computer (or Finder) and copy it onto the hard drive. Then, reformat it.

You cannot pull music off your ipod onto a computer. You have to switch your ipod to manual instead of automatic to use multiple computers for music on your ipod.
