How to hang a cloth shower curtain & use a liner?

Do I put both curtains on the same rod & use same hooks or use different hooks and need a second bar? No directions other than cloth label states liner recommended!

They have shower curtain hooks that look like this /|\
the left side holds the cloth curtain and the right side holds the liner, that way when yo need to throw away the cheap $2 liner from walmart and put up the new one you don't have to take the whole thing down. also, you don't have to take the whole thing down when you want to throw the cloth one into the washing machine.

Depends on the style of the cloth shower curtain. If it's just a plain, flat panel like the liner, then you can use the same hooks and rod. The holes should line right up.

Now if the cloth curtain is a lot fuller, has a center opening and you tie back the sides, then you will need two rods and two sets of hooks.

Use the same hooks on the same bar. The liner hangs inside the tub, the cloth curtain hangs outside the tub. Try to mount the shower curtain rod so that it is even with the outside edge of the tub, to give the decorative curtain a straight even fall.

You use 2 shower curtain rods, adjustable. The liner goes on the inside and hangs lower usually to allow for easier sliding. Lay the curtain and the liner on the floor. Line up the holes, and Insert the rings through both . Feed the rings onto 1 rod.

you can just use the same..put the hooks on the rod then put up rod , then attach inside liner then outside cloth curtain.
