The ship is constructed to fit through the neck of the bottle. With sailing ships, many parts including the upright masts are made to tilt when they contact the bottle and are intended to lie flat on the surface of the boat.
The ship is designed to collapse so that it will fit through the bottle. Once it is passed through the bottle neck than the rigging is tweaked lifting the masts from the deck of the ship and into the air. Once the sailing masts are 'raised' it is then possible to pass smaller components directly through the neck of the bottle using tweezers to add further accessories to the ship.

The put pieces of the ship that fit through the neck inside and assemble it there

They're put together in a way that they can be folded down small enough to slide in there.
I didn't want to give a serious answer. :(
