Plato says that all virtues partakes to the form of Good and that the Good is in itself desirable. Its attainment must be made through the quest and foundation of a virtuous character in our own person (that is to be wise, courageous, temperate and just).

In other words: be virtuous, you will be good and, in being good, you will be happy.
