Have a problem with my laptop and it says "SMART Failure Predicted on Hard Disk 0; SAMSUNG HW 641JI - (S1).?
WARNING: Immediately back-up your data and replace your hard disk drive. A failure may be imminent. Press F1 to Continue.
But it takes bit time to get start & working after recovery. How can I repair this? Please help

A few of my customers have had this warning in the past. After a lot of research I found that going into the BIOS and turning off SMART is the answer. And yes, they're all still working fine☺

SMART monitoring is a kind of "predictive" failure for hard drives as the system is monitoring various values and thresholds for the hard drive and at least one or more of these values is out of tolerance which could mean that the drive is beginning to fail.
If you've heard it making any strange noises, loud clicks, or other mechanical noises those are also indicators that the drive is failing. Since you said it's taking a long time to boot, I'd make sure all your data files are backed up and look for a replacement drive soon.
You can also try running a Chkdsk on your drive, but this generally won't fix errors being reported by SMART monitoring. To run a Chkdsk, click Start > Run and then type
chkdsk c: /r
Then click OK
You will receive a message that the drive can't be locked and do you want to run the scan on the next reboot. Press Y and hit <ENTER> and then restart your computer. Depending on the size of your hard drive this scan may take a while as it will scan the entire hard drive and try to repair and corrupt files as well as bad sectors.

will you have to keep a back up of all your important files as the hard drive is actually failing, it would be better to have it replaced ASAP
