1994 buick century, car will run but no lights, any lights even light under hood and power door locks stop working. after I start car and drive shut key off the next time I start it the raido goes to AM as if the battery has been disconnected and yes the radio does work. I replaced the headlight switch about a month ago, for the second time, could that have anything to do with power door locks?
I beleve there is a bad power window switch, at times they would stop working than after opening and closing the door or banging on inside of door they would start working again. they have not worked for about two months now. The two back windows still work from the drivers switch.

Sounds like a main line from the battery may be loose, or even the negative post clamp on the battery.
You have checked main fuses?

Fuses or a fusible link. It looks like link "A" can cause problems: http://www.autozone.com/autozone/repairinfo/repair...
G/Ms are also notorious for the tilt steering wheel cutting wires. You may have to pull off steering wheel, again, and see. My wipers don't work rigght, I know this is the problem but I've been lazy: http://www.autozone.com/autozone/repairinfo/repair...
EDIT: If your battery post connections were bad, probably no starter. If intermittent, it would set off air bags.

sounds like maybe the ground cable coming off the battery to the engine. it might be contacting only part of the time. you might want to check both cables out because it sure sounds like it,s not getting power from somewhere.
