What Types Of Fish Like Fast Moving Water?

Question

I'm thinking small schooling tropical fish... I've had a look at Danios but they seem to like cooler waters. Are there any other small tropical fish that don't mind fast moving water? My filter flow isn't adjustable.

Tank is 45 gallons.

Doesn't really have to be tropical. Looked at White Clouds too.

Nothing much likes fast flow over 24C. Since you most likely have a tank that's way too small perhaps you do need to rethink this.

Just turn the heater down to maybe 72F and the danios and White Clouds will be just fine at a low end tropical temp like that.

Another good fast / cool water fish is Hillstream loaches.
