WebP is a new image compression technology designed to make images such as JPEG and PNG smaller, therefore load more quickly in browsers. Google invented the technology, so it makes sense that it would be included in Chrome.
It's possible that Facebook may have silently converted all of their images to the new format without telling anyone. If you right-click and save pictures from Facebook, Chrome will automatically default to the .webp format and you cannot change it.
Google does, however, offer a free codec to view those images in Windows Picture Viewer. You can find it here: https://developers.google.com/speed/webp/docs/webp...
You can also right-click and save files without issue in Internet Explorer.

Search "images" then on the high proper nook of the web page it says "cellular uploads" it'll have the entire expertise on that web page for how to do it. In case your cellphone got here with a twine to connect with your laptop it is going to simply be less complicated to add your snap shots, retailer them, then add like usual.
