Can crayfish survive one night in tap water?

    Well, chlorine in tap water is just not good for them, Yes, they could survive a day, but can't say how well.

    A 5 gallon jug of water cost a dollar or less in machines, those usually remove chlorine, or you can buy dechlorinator treatment at pet stores.

    Be very careful refrigerating them, thermal shock or too cold will kill them.

    Wait is this a pet or food?for pet I wouldn't you can buy what's called natural spring water in almost every grocery store
