(((Philosophy)) Does your postman read your mail?

Have you ever gotten a piece of mail...an envelope or package that looks like it has been beaten up and torn open at a corner? Have you wondered why a lot of your mail looks like someone may have tried reading it because of the suspicious way it looks when delivered?

Ethics...I don't think ethics are so important to some people. Emails, snail mail, telephone...who is watching and listening? Sometimes, I think we'd be surprised!

So that's how he knew I was receiving a tax rebate P? On the other hand it could be because it was delivered in a brown envelope with Inland Revenue written on it. ;-Lol.

Is this really a Philosophy question P? Personally old boy I would have posted it in P&S. ;-)

i would hope not, ive never found anything open, i have this really nice mail carrier right now and its a female mailman, i feel like i can trust her, ive mailed checks to the bank for instance and it got there okay, i doubt she'd do that and neither would the guy that was there before her that retired, i dont think they would be there if they did that, to work for the post office they probably have to pass a background check anyways

Not regular mail.Bills & such. If a letter looks important she will send a boy down to let me know it is there. Or a package comes. This cost me a pitcher of ice water. For the boys who show up. She sends 1 sometimes 4 come on such a important event. As ice water. We do not have postmen. We have mail drops for our area. We pick it up there. No door to door.

Don't think so. He barely has time to deliver everyone's mail. This is a huge apartment complex. LOL

Not sure how that's philosophy - but no, I doubt it - why would he/she? They just want to get through their work day like anyone else, I'd suppose.

I don't get half my mail and the mailman only delivers when he feels like it. I don't know if he's reading it and then throwing it away or just throwing it away.

My mail tends to come in a sealed envelope or parcel, so no.
