Where may download IE8 with IE6 ?

I just completed a clean install with WXPSP2 which includes IE6.

I need IE8 for activation and upgrades, e.g., SP3. However, none of the sites offering IE8 will work with IE6.

I just downloaded the IE8 installer in about 5 seconds. It's 16,883,056 bytes.

The activation issue can be circumvented.

You do not need to install SP2 before you install SP3.

If you're looking for the SP3 redistributable installer, you can get at it by visiting this URL:

Here's something else that you should also consider downloading and installing:

There is no dearth of software designed to protect Microsoft Windows that can be installed on Windows XP ... if you insist on using it to access the Internet. Such things as ZoneAlarm Free firewall, Spybot Search & Destroy, SUPERAntispyware, AVG Free, ClamAV, SpywareBlaster, and others that (when used together) can do an excellent job of thwarting ordinary malware/spyware.

With the alternatives that are available today for ordinary computer users, I wouldn't be bothered with Windows XP anymore. However, only effing morons say that it's dead.

XP is dead, they don't have activation servers anymore.

You can't. You'll need to download a third-party browser. There are legacy versions of Firefox that will work with XP.
