Are there any softball lessons for 16 year old beginners in Perth?

Pathetic I know. I'm looking for lessons in the Perth, Western Australia region and I was wondering if by now I am too old to start learning

Here are the softball clubs in WA. Why not ring a few and ask if they take on novices? http://www.clubsofaustralia.com.au/Softball/Clubs-...

You have to be a dyke before any softball club will accept you

    1. Online search

    2. Phone book, look for sports organisations like sports federations

3, Ask teachers, parents, relatives, neighbors.

Easier is to find a field and go there when they are playing. Usually Sundays or some evenings. The rules aren't that complicated - you can Google that and know in advance how to play the game. Hitting the ball is the hard part.... And you'll need a glove somewhere along the way.

I'll' tell you, because of the other two answers. Sport organizations and leagues are out of your league, no pun. Those are organized teams that are experienced players. As a novice you will be much more comfortable in a pick-up game at a local field. Casual, low stress, low pressure. We played a game as kids that didn't even keep score, it was just an endless hit and run thing till we went home. Go to a field and make some friends. The leagues can come after you bat 350.
