The choice of "best" web browser largely depends on what site you're trying to access as well as what features you want to work. When going to a specific website be sure to check to see if there are requirements or recommendations from the sitebuilder as to which browser works best with the individual site.
For example, if you're looking to use Google Docs, Gmail, or other "Google" features we would recommend using the Google Chrome Browser. Other websites, Pogo games for example, specifically state the browser that is recommended (Firefox). Other websites, such as the Social Security Administration or any webpage that requires "Silverlight" or "Flash" may run best in Internet Explorer.
The most commonly used browsers are Google Chrome, Internet Explorer 11, Microsoft Edge, Apple Safari, and Mozilla Firefox; however, there are many other less well known browsers out there that you can chose from.
If you run into issues where a specific feature doesn't load, or if you have issues displaying and seeing content in a particular browser, we recommend trying a different browser to see if the same issue occurs.
Ultimately, the decision on which browser you chose to use, and which one is "best" is up to you.
