You will be vacuuming *every* day, & you will also have to vacuum your furniture frequently b/c the fur gets everywhere somehow, even if the dog doesn't jump on furniture
Huskies require lots of grooming at least once every other day, their coats are very dense & they shed A LOT. My Husky sheds more than my mums long-haired German Shepherd.
Huskies are very intelligent & they need lots of mental stimulation, they're bored & distracted SO easily, so it's important to establish firm boundaries so the dog doesn't try to outsmart you. In my experience they enjoy advanced agility/obedience training. This doesn't include the exercise they desperately need; Huskies are hard-working & high energy, they quickly grow tired of the same exercise routine so they want variety & lots of walking/running opportunities.
They're stubborn & very smart, I wouldn't recommend this breed for a first time handler/owner. Make sure you research PLENTY & try to gain some experience with strong breeds!
