According to my closest friend. it DID now in parts of New Orleans on Friday. it snowed in English Turn and there flurries in Kenner. it's NOT that unusual for Shreveport or Baton Rouge and north of Baton Rouge to get snow.. For New Orleans, it's on average once every 10 to 15 or 20 years.. I Did a lot og Growing up in new Orleans, i was born there., it does not ALWAYS snow in central Oklahoma either, but if it DOES snow. It more likely to do it in the middle of February..

I was was about to turn 5 years old in 1958. It snowed on Valentines Day in 1973. and it snowed Christmas eve in the 1980s in Metairie. it was BITTERLY cold in February 1996, but it DID NOT snow in new Orleans, THAT is when the 15 degree F reading happened.. Yes, i WAS home then, not home in central Oklahoma.
