Not at all.
Back in the late 60's, I attended a party, where EVERYONE ( except me ) was lining / snorting coke. My refusal to share in the "snow fest" led to my being asked to leave the party.
Five years later, I met someone from THAT party---who told me EVERYONE from that party DIED from abusing coke and other addictive drugs; six months later---that very person died under mysterious circumstances ( thought to be drug related ).
Back then, I chose to stay away from the wild parties and expend focus on safer, more quiet forms of recreation, between my college studies--keeping focus on my goals. And through my hard earned efforts and successes, my life and profession both have been far happier than those party-boys / party-girls from my undergraduate days.
