You should, you're young. My life got worse after first getting social media. Myspace was fine (in 2006) but by Facebook, it just creates complexes n distracts you. Studies have proven social media gives younger people anxiety, and only older generations benefit from it. The amount of influence is debatable, but people I know without any are genuinely happier. That's why some people are always on their phones, there's a mental aspect n brain chemicals firing off that make you dependent on other people' opinions (friend n stranger alike), and absorbing useless content. There are multiple reasons why most young people these days have more anxiety, depression, and loneliness, and social media just contributes to it. I only keep mine out of boredom, but honestly I don't think it's healthy at this point.
