No, humans are animals. We are not more important.

In fact, they are probably more important than us, all we do is destroy the environment and disrupt the ecosystem. Think of it this way.

We are in a relationship with the Earth, but our relationship is toxic, we, the human race are abusing the Earth.

Take humans from the Earth, and the Earth will flourish. We aren't that important to the survival of Earth while there are animals who's very existence helps keep Earth even livable, and yet here we are destroying it, and for what? Because of our need to feel superior? Because of our greed?

That's a hard one to answer. If we are going stat wise than no since we have a very large population therefore species with a lower population should be considered more important. But if we are speaking just as in human interests than of course we would be the most important to ourselves. Really that's a question that can't be answered it's based mostly on opinion and feelings.

More important to whom? More important to what? Humans have done more damage to this planet, other animals, and each other than any other creature ever has. We've done far more harm than good in the short amount of time we've been here. We've wiped out more species, and destroyed more natural habitats than any other creature has, and we are quickly using up all of our natural resources. We care more about celebrities and social media than our own planet. We are pretty much a disgrace to the animal kingdom.

Yes, we would say "No" to answer this question.
      Because both lives are important.
Why consider or predict pain on another being as it would be pointless.

It depends on exactly what you mean by important. In the Bible, man was given dominion over all the animals of the earth. This means authority over not that we are better or worse than all the animals He created. He expected us to be good stewards of His creation. Unfortunately, we haven't done all that good a job though.
