Do you also wash your pet with bleach?

I have a white dog and I would usually mix a few drops of bleach with water and use it as shampoo. I wonder if my cat will be ok with it too.

The trick to make a white dog whiter is by using laundry blueing.

Here are some web sites that will help you determine how much to use. I have used too much & turned white dogs a beautiful shade of blue. It wears off but using too much can turn your dog blue for a while.

You should never put bleach anywhere near your animals. Bleach is highly toxic, and can kill your dog or give it neurological disorders. There are special shampoos that can help maintain a white dog's fur safely.

I would NEVER do that! I guess it didn't dawn on you to actually ask your vet. They do have safe products on the market for that instead of bleach. Heaven help your pets!
