The people of the UK voted to leave the EU- End of. No strings, just leave. Isn't that the hard Brexit that we voted for?

It's not so simple as saying the people of the UK voted that way.

An intelligent analysis of the referendum result, which took into account what would have been the result if everyone who could vote did vote, concluded that the democratic vote would then have been 50.35% to Remain.

Leave would have been justifiably unhappy about that. Perhaps you can see now why having an in/out referendum at that time based on less than 3/4 of the actual electorate was like a big advisory opinion poll. Sensible politicians saw it that exactly that way and that what the British vote was practically calling for was an association agreement.

It will be a "hard Brexit" if Jean Paul Junker doesn't stop thinking, that he will make an example of the U.K to other disgruntled E.U members. More and more E.U members are voicing dissatisfaction with the E.U and the way it is run.

No, nobody knows what "we voted for" as nobody was asked. Some voted to get rid of Muslims, even though that was not in the least bit relevant to the EU
