Education will change. With the internet, there is access to all the tools and skills needed, so education could be changing and the role of the teacher changing. There will always be teachers in some for or another, but the process is very slow to make dramatic changes. There are a couple reasons for that. One is that it would take a lot of convincing of people that a dramatic change is needed. But the mentality of the general public is "Well, it worked for me, it is good enough for my kids" and those that don't have children is school don't really care that much. It would also cost a lot of money. So while people love to blame teachers for not making changes, it is not their role. They are given the role by the public who votes in the people in charge of education in each state.
