Which Beatles album is better: Abbey Road or the White Album?

Definitely Abbey Road! The White Album has a lot of good songs but I never could understand why "Revolution 9" was allowed on there. I agree with their former producer, George Martin who later claimed he had wanted the group to omit the album's weaker songs and focused instead on producing a solid single-disc release.

It depends on who you ask. Both are excellent albums. I can't decide which I like better.

With "Revolver" through "Abbey Road" the best album is really a matter of personal taste -- that's the level of quality The Beatles had. AR does stand out as a particularly beautiful piece of work, and the perfect ending to their career (I treat it, and not "Let It Be", as their last album).

      "Abbey" was the last-recorded.

I say the White Album because it has Helter Skelter and Back In The U.S.S.R.
