I live in west Texas, which is a dry desert region. There are some moderately high mountains out here (the Davis Mountains), and there should be no evidence of any kind of sea life ever having been here. However, on top of some of the mountains, people have found fragments of seashells and fossils of sea animals. There is a mountain in Turkey that supposedly has the remains of a great ship on top of a mountain. Unfortunately, for political reasons, people are not allowed to go examine it. It supposedly is similar to the description of Noah's ark and is in the correct place (Mt. Ararat). Additionally, God promised Noah that there would never be another flood and as a sign of His promise, He made "a bow in the heavens" that would occur after rains. That is what we know as a rainbow. Each rainbow has the same colors and is shaped the same every time.
