Nope I have tons of poems on my computer and in notebooks. There is nothing like a good poem and trying to understand what another writer is feeling. Poetry is art like many diff things that are.

Simply petrified!
Terrified ...
Whoops!
I may have lied!
My gift cannot hide!
Humble yet full if pride!
Poetry springs forth from inside.
Afraid of the people?
Most are mere Sheeple!
Rules are not really my thing,
so often I will suffer their sting.
Stinging remarks from aardvarks.
Is this a poem or words full of bling?
Frightened of another human being?
Insults from those remaining unseen
as if living a romantic sweet daydream
within silence, nobody hears a scream.
This Poetess
must confess,
I wear a dress,
do I impress?
Impress the asker
with wit and style?
Undress the master
to make lips smile?
Upon swift current
my poetry flows on.
Under moonlight,
starlight, sunshine gone!

Not afraid, but it does take a lot of effort which discourages me from doing it frequently.

No, love writing poetry. I have been writing since 1984, and still have a few ideas I can use. Even joined a poetry club on the net today, and submitted my first poem. You either love it or dislike it. The clue is to understand what the poet is having you understand.

I wrote a poem once. It wasn't loved and praised instantly by all so I gave up.

Maybe you should give it a go
Instead of the one man show
You're a swan not a goose
Let go of fear, turn it loose
Don't be afraid to do your part
Let it flow from the heart
Lol!

No. I used to write it all the time. Here's a link to an best answer I got years ago on an old account for writing haiku about cats.

No . But someone once told me to be a great poet or song writer etc you have to write about what you fear to think or talk about. Got a major fear of death? Face it and write about it (for example.) Go for it my friend! ☺
Dear Lapiz ... The pleasure is all mine.
To be here with a friend like you is sublime.
