What type of sentence is ‘sounds easy enough, doesn’t it?’ (Simple,compound,complex......) Thanks :)?

    I'd have to go with 'compound', because there are two subjects and two verbs. (The very first subject is 'it' or 'that' but because it is phrased very colloquially, very conversationally, that word is just omitted here, although it is understood...). Yours includes a 'tag' or 'yes/no tag' at the end. Interesting that in English that tag is usually its own little sentence, although many other languages just stick a single word on the end for the same 'yes/no' effect. ... So I guess it has to be 'compound', because it is 2x(NP+VP) in the underlying structure...
