Why do Americans hyphenate by country of origin?
For example, African American.
Isn’t everyone just plain American?

Cause its the way of some BLACK AMERICANS to try to get something for free... or especially the MEXICANS to stay here ILLEGALLY...

We think those long German words with adjectives running up against a noun are confusing.

Better yet, why do they visit another country like France, and still refer to black people there as African-Americans
