Wow! You get the prize for the question of the day. I seriously doubt anyone will know what you're really asking because it combines the disciplines of Psychology, Psychiatry, Philosophy (especially Existentialism), Meditation, Spirituality, Religion, and Metaphysics. Throw in the nature of reality, and truth and there aren't that many of us here who are that widely educated. Oh we have opinions, all right, lots of opinions, and that's all you're likely to get.
The quick answer is a big fat NO! It is a rare person who controls their mind (which is just an organ designed for survival of the self) rather than being their mind's puppet constantly reinforcing their self image, beliefs, strongly held opinions, what they can and can't do, their capabilities, and on and on.
No, the mind runs you, not the other way around. Unless you are a very very spiritual person who understands themselves as context, not content. You HAVE a mind, you are not your mind. You HAVE opinions. skills, a body, job, you are NOT these "things." You are the context (space) that permits them to exist.
See I told you few would understand. You're going to have to do some academic research elsewhere if you're serious about learning this feature of "BEING HUMAN."
