Blueberry pie, cobbler, muffins.
They are great on cereal or in smoothies.
I love to use frozen fruit to make smoothies so I don’t have to use ice and water them down.
My favorite smoothies:
About a cup of frozen fruit(s) of choice
About 1/2 cup plain full fat yogurt (i prefer the organic, cream top ones)
A dash of cinnamon
A few drops of vanilla
Just enough organic, unfiltered apple juice to be able to blend.
Blend to desired consistancy.
I like my smoothies so thick they have to be eaten with a spoon so I use very little apple juice, like 1/4 cup. This means I sometimes have to stop the blender and “stir” the contents to get it to completely blend.
If you want your smoothie a little sweeter (part of why I use apple juice is the extra sugar) a teeny bit of real maple syrup can be added.
Blueberry pairs well with a hint of lemon to brighten it. Lemon muffins with whole blueberries in them are awesome.
And my very favorite pancakes are Bob’s Red Mill whole grain buttermilk pancake mix with fresh berries mixed into the batter and then more fresh berries on top.
If you have any left over from whatever you make, rinse them, dry them fully, bag them up in freezer bags, suck out the air and freeze them.
