Tofu has NO flavor; as in: NONE.
My friend eats a lot of Tofu, so I asked her for some recipes. Well, she smothers it with so much stuff that I asked her why and she said it is a way for her to get protein into her system and because if has no flavor, she has to add a ton of flavor to it. As far as I am concerned, there is no point in eating flavorless food. I can add all of those flavorings to chicken, fish and other dishes, without the flavorless tofu.
But, if you don't eat meat, I suppose you can convince yourself that Tofu taste good after you douse it with flavorings; when, in fact, it is the flavorings that taste good, not the Tofu. LOL.
