"Why do men think they’re superior to women yet want the same treatment as them?"
Well that is essentially what equality is, isn't it? Men and women being treated the same.
"Men are always the first ones to boast about how they are physically superior and stronger than us women, but they are also the first ones to cry and say it’s sexist when there are laws protecting women and children from men abusing them"
Okay first off, men are typically physically stronger than women. That's not boasting...rather it's a simple fact.
Secondly, the numbers suggest that in a household, men are statistically more likely to be abused by women than we are to abuse women. Yes, men are less likely to seek medical attention or police intervention...but facts are facts, and the fact is that when the violence is not reciprocal, women are more likely than men to be the abuser.
Finally, if you believe that laws should exist on the basis of sex, don't whine when men start to demand laws be put in place that serve male interests.
As an egalitarian, I believe that laws and systems should protect victims and prosecute perpetrators, regardless of their sex!
