Can the queen stop Brexit?
Hearing all this chaos in Westminster about brexit or no brexit etc. One person that no one has mentioned is the Queen. I know publicly she stands politically neutral, however with the UK in grave economic danger surely she would have stepped in by now and order brexit to be stopped all together, or step in and say something. She seems to be totally absent from all these negotiations.

Plenty of people have mentioned her. But as it is not her role to make political decisions in a constitutional monarchy, it is not for her to intervene in the process.

The royals only are concerned with matters that keep intact their exalted positions, their exorbitant wealth, and their luxurious way of living

No she can't - and won't. BUT you can bet she's having her say during her weekly meetings with the PM, assuming the PM has the time to have those meetings at the moment.
And why would she when this Referendum narrowly went in the direction of Leave. She has to allow the democratic process to take place.
Further - the PM could go to the Queen and ask her to dissolve Parliament so a General Election can be called - IF NEEDED. I think?

She has no power to do anything, for us giving her a generous allowance she agrees to stay out of politics, started in 1688, henry VIII was the last monarch to have political power.

As the monarch reigns through Parliament, the only thing she can do is to dissolve the current government and call for general elections. Parliament would have to call for a referendum to stop Brexit. The Queen is a constitutional monarch, which means she has very limited political powers. The Queen could stop Brexit if she had support of the majority, or near-majority of Parliament.

No she doesn't have the power to do so.

In a word no.

Can she? Yes. She has the power to do so.
Will she? No. It is not the place of a monarch to interfere in politics, it is completely undemocratic. How would you feel if she stepped in and immediately pulled the UK out of the EU?
She should be able to use emergency protocol to end the mess that there seems to be no way of getting out of and just cancel brexit altogether or order another vote.

The Queen could stop Brexit, but protocol stops her from interfering - besides, she won't be that affected. She's rich, with huge amounts of land, and a massive subsidy by the tax payer
she does not get any money from the Taxpayer she is paid from Crown estates
She can't do anything else, thomas.
