I’m generally a positive person but when I’m around negative people will there negativity rub off on me? If so how to stop?

I don’t won’t to swallow anyone’s poison, metaphorically speaking

    All of us need association. We must be alert, though, to the fact that our associates can affect us, for good or for bad. Therefore, I always keep these wise words in mind: "Do not be fooled. Bad companions ruin good character." (1Corinthians 15:33)
