There's no easy way to learn any language, and anybody who tells you different is just wrong. There are methods that are more effective and methods that are less effective, but there's no way to magically insert a language into your brain - it will only happen with a great deal of studying and practice.

For speakers of English, it's estimated that about 2,200 hours of study are required for learning Korean. That's 275 eight-hour days of studying Korean. If you took weekends off and only spent Monday to Friday, 9AM to 5PM learning Korean, it would take you over a year just to become conversational. It would take years and years to become fluent, no less than five.

And studying on the internet is not going to do it. You need to concentrate on reading and listening as well as speaking and writing. Without a solid curriculum and a good teacher it will take twice as long, if not longer.

And of course, few people can devote 40 hours a week to studying, so be prepared for a long haul.
