Could the firey damage to Notre Dame be caused by a meteorite?

Be realistic, unexplained fires just do not happen.

The damage is more consistent with a meteorite strike or perhaps a very small comet or asteroid?

The elevation and trajectory fits perfectly.

Why was this not detected earlier, we have that technology?

Update:

the roof was made of solid lead - no human fire can burn thru that - only a superheated object from space like maybe a miniature black hole could do so much damage so quickly

Nope. The roof had lead sheeting, over 850 year old wooden beams.

Much more likely, renovation accident - since it happened after the end of the day work stoppage. Someone forgot to turn off a soldering furnace, spontaneous combustion from oily rags, sparks smoldering after a torch was used, or electrical sparking, or anything similar.

It seems Michelle Obama was in Paris at the time of the Burning, By any chance could her motorcade have blocked the fire trucks, from getting to the church on time

Don't be silly. God started the fire because he is angry about all the pedo priests.

Builders were doing restoration work in the Cathedral so fire fighters believe a workman accidentally started it likely either by sparks from a power tool or a careless cigarette.

It could have been, but probably wasn't, the building was being renovated it's much, much more likely that it was a simple accident caused by the disruption of the structure by builders, people inside at the time (they were holding a mass) would certainly have heard a meteorite crashing through the roof and I doubt that it would stop in the roof timbers, it would have smashed right through...

Be realistic! It was more likely a small star-like object maybe a tenth the size of the sun.
