Am I really asking too much?

I got a new car lease and a clean car is something I m picky about. Whenever I drive with my friends around, I ask them not to vape in my car because for anyone who does, it leaves a terrible film on windows. They always give some bullshit excuse like, "It s just a little bit" or "I have a nicotine addiction". Am I really asking the world for them to put them away for 20 minutes?

If they do not like your rules, leave them on the curve.

No. Your cars, your rules. If you don't want them to smoke, don't let them in, Alex.

The odors will eventually become soaked into the headliner and seat fabric in your lease car -- and you will be charged for deep-cleaning them after you return the car at lease-end. Your friends are costing you money.

Tell them those are the rules. There is no way I would allow it in my car.

It's YOUR car! If you don't want them polluting your air, then don't let them ride with you!
