How do I stop these words from hurting me?

Someone said something to me a few years ago, it still hurts...

Every time I hear one of the words randomly, it immediately brings me back to the painful memory...

It might help to ask yourself, What would you have had to go wrong in your life for you say something so hurtful to someone else? Whatever that person said that was so cruel represents their problem, not yours.

Go and see a therapist or a psychologist.

    There is no other way.

How old are you? You must either be very young or a highly sensitive person. Nothing wrong with either of those things, but it isn't normal to be so affected still by comments that were made years ago. Perhaps counselling would help.
