    I cannot understand why you would ask this question.

    However if the gain in potential energy = mgh

    then to do it formally

    p2/p1 = ( mgh2)/ mgh1)

    if both m and g are kept the same then

    p2/p1 = h2/h1 = 3/1 = 3
