What are the "pros & cons" if any, with you riding a pedal-bike from your home-abode to your place of work?

Other than inclement weather...what cons? To those who rant about idiots in cars, if you want respect from motorists, you have to EARN it. I've been getting around with NO CAR for about 11 years now without a major incident or wreck. Take classes either online or in person. https://cyclingsavvy.org/

From an online article dated August 23, 2017 - 16 Benefits of Biking to Work - https://thriveglobal.com/stories/16-benefits-of-bi... Besides the obvious saving on gas $$$ and parking, over the years I've lost OVER 110 lbs. You might say cycling saved my life!

Pros: Good exercise, saves gas money and the environment, faster then a car in some cities, you can park it anywhere.

Cons: You have to dodge idiots on the road, miserable when hot or raining, not practical when you want to take someone on a lunch date, you're hot and sweaty when you get to work.

I did this long ago. People threw beer bottles at me. I gave up.
