Could gravity be explained by the density of the air?

Lower to earth the density of air is much greater, the weight and pressure created by the combined worlds air keeps us on the ground. I have no clue about physics, I'm probably really silly asking this but probably learn something. I have no clue about physics, I'm probably really silly asking this but probably learn something. I'm just having trouble with its the size/spin of the planet that makes this force that creates a magic force called gravity, that can't be right. I am positive that is just as whack pot as my theory.
