Should Shorten resign his seat after say a year?

Perhaps he intends to do a Swan and spend years on the back bench shouting silly insults.

    What would be the point of waiting even a week, the next leader is going to need all the time they can get if they are serious about ever getting back into office.

  • Its not as if he is going to be unemployed. He could get a job in any big corporation on the board of directors.

    For guys like Shorten and Tony Abbott getting the sack from politics equates to a massive promotion and pay rise.

    Won't make any difference they could put Goofy in that seat and they would still vote Labor .
