Should Kevin Durant consider retirement after his injury?

    He still just 30, still has a lot on him.

    The nature of his injuries may diminish his effectiveness but I bet he would still be better than most players even if that happens.

    No way. He will work his way back somehow.

    No he still has some years left even if he is never at 100% being at 70 or 85% is better than most

    Consider retirement, yes. Will he? Absolutely not. He's still got plenty of gas in his tank. Of course, there's the money factor, too.

    Every player should 'consider' retirement every year. That may be a 2 second decision, but it should be evaluated and considered.

    I suspect he did consider it for about 30 secs. I think he still enjoys playing and will get a lot of money to do so. Why retire under those conditions?
