is it considered fish abuse if my unnamed friend purposely doesn t feed her fish?

    If this is a prolonged thing, yes- but, if it’s intentional for a few days, many fishkeepers fast their fish if they A) haven’t eaten willingly, or B) Ate too much at once.

    There's no law against it. I went a few weeks one time. The fish was pissed off, but ok. So if you mean not feeding for a few days, that's ok.

    It's not humane, but the likelihood of intervention by authorities seems to be very unlikely.

    Still, why not be nice to them since they depend and are vulnerable?

    Makes me sick to my stomach thinking someone would do that, but that's just me.
