Could a Cosmetic Dermatologist make $1 million dollars a year?

I was thinking about majoring in Biology to become either a Dermatologist Cosmetologist or Dermatologist PA Cosmetologist.

If I were to specialize in MOHS (skin cancer mole removal) will that bring in more money on top of there hourly pay?. Do they get paid for procedures they perform, like MOHS, peels, fillers, laser, Ect , on top of there hourly pay? . Own a skincare line of my own?

Anything is a possibility, but dermatologists and other types of doctors typically get a salary and are not paid by the hour. However, some types of doctors can also get commission pay and bonuses as well. If you were able to own your own dermatology clinic and had your own line of skincare, it would be much more likely that you could make a large sum of money. If you are working for someone else as a dermatologist, it would be very unlikely. Dermatologists require a lot of training, so be sure to focus on your grades for now and your requirements for admissions.

Only a very very few would make that (Murad, Obagi for example) and that would be after years and a great deal of capital. A regular derm, pretty darn rare.

Highly unlikely, you are aiming to be a specialist Technician. I think that you could make a reasonable living but you probably need to aim your education higher to get the big money?

On top of "their" hourly pay. Yes, they could make that much eventually, if they're very VERY good, work very hard and manage to be a top partner in a popular clinic.
