Well, it's a full moon, so it's probably a werewolf

Because dogs have been demonstrated to exist and are easy to find for proof of their existence, while werewolves have never been demonstrated to exist and cannot be found anywhere to conclude that they are anything more than fantasy.

Don't werewolves traditionally howl instead of bark?

  • If your neighbour doesn't have a dog, but you can still hear it.

Were-sheep are more difficult to detect.

I don't know but I would think that the presence of a werewolf would set all of the neighborhood dogs barking.

That's the way it works around here for coyotes in any case.

If you hear a dog barking it is probably a dog barking.
